Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Eather way I think I'm just gonna pay a shop to pull the cover and see what's in there so I at least have an idea before the heavy mods start going on

im not sure lol i haven't pulled a motor in a grand prix yet and i don't want to screw it up, it never goes smooth theres always something that breaks or gets in the way

You don't have to pull the motor to pull the cam out... You can pull it from the fender well. The amount of money your going to pay your mechanic is going to be insane.

Yeah I know it is, I think Maby I'll just research the hell out of doing it myself and see what it's going to take to do it myself. I really don't wanna spend that much money that could be going into mods

I think there are a few threads laying around that explain how to install a cam.

**** I would pull the tune down off the PCM from someone local and see what it is reading. If you have 90# LS6 valve springs they would be a different color (yellow or blue) just pop your oil cap and see if the valve springs are a different color. This before paying someone to pull a cover.

i checked that it looked like the springs are all the factory oem color from i could see, and thanks for the link, it looks difficult but doable I'm considering it knowing how much money i can save

Personally in my opinion if you have a garage pull it out yourself. this was my first cam build and it wasn't as hard as i thought more of a scare then anything in fear of messing something up. One thing i do have to say make sure you do not mess up the timing dots. make sure they are lined up correctly.

Heck i just pulled out my GTX motor to find out what cam it has since i saw it has the balance shaft removed and a double roller, 1.6 YT RR, EWP, Nitrous, IC, Headers, Catback, and more,
