i hit a dog doing like 45 in my truck one time. not even a big dog. i swear to God it got up and met me as i was opening the door. like literally. it got up and walked away. anyways... there are dumbasses out there that go that fast on the street. that's why gm installed top speed limiters. nothing that's said will change their minds. just do what everybody else does and blame video games and pop culture. it's kinda true. part of it is still young guys being retarded. and that will always be the case.

Rofl, got this amusing PM from him today. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Notice his sudden change in location, and surprisingly he's already taken it upon himself to remove all personal info and pictures from his profile page, which myself and 'others' already have saved. Including the one of the dead cat and the police car from his town. Nice try though, little too late.

This thread is seriously driving me nuts
It has already been said that everyone on here has pushed their car to the speed limiter and we will do it again. Quit bagging on this guy. He's said he has changed in the past two years and has become more responsible after seeing the loss of his friend, and who are you and what do you know to say he hasn't become more responsible. don't get me wrong im not saying what he did was right but we all did it and instead of destroying him why don't you give him some friendly advice about the dangers not just telling him his whole life = fail because of a stupid mistake.

Shut the **** up. I have never come close to the speed limiter on any vehicle I have ever driven. There is a far cry difference between exceeding the speed limit and pulling the stunt he did. Let this thread die already.

There are only two gears any car i've been driving has seen the top of, and those are first and second.
In english, 120-130 km/h aka 75-81 mph. And this is on a highway where the speed limit is 62 mph and the regular flow of traffic is 75 mph. (cops actually let you do 120 on the highways here, else they'd be pulling everyone over)
There are very few cars designed to run at speeds in excess of 100 mph because there are no roads for it. (continuously i might add)
Now... that doesnt mean I wont turn onto the on ramp and floor it.:th_thumbsup-wink:
