ok so my ac doesn't work but the heater does. and my gtp is no longer my dd so i want to try and make it track worthy. i want to delete the hvac system but i'm not sure of what all needs to be done. i would like to keep the heater if possible. any input is appreicated.

so just get pulley and rip and gut?
i'm thinking about doing this, but then again i live in florida

Why would you ever conisder that in florida? Id never do it anyway unless it was a dedicated track car. Kiss the defroster good bye..and its hot. Wtf wants to be hot?

it's going to be able to drive to the track. now back home is different story lol. anyway i know i need to delete the compressor and condenser. i know that there are more components to delete. i just need to what the components are and if there is a way to mod and keep the heater. i'm in louisiana and not a fan of the cold.

Take out the compressor, condenser, lines, accumulator, and if you really wanted to you could take out the evaporator.

have you priced a working condenser, compressor and evaporator lately

and i've only owned 1 vehicle where the a/c worked and it was a ram. everything else was gm

well in the event this was my dd i would fix it. but since it will only be driven a few months if each year and has the potential of being broken, since it is a track car, there's no point in fixing the ac! this thread was started to try and figure something out not start a poo flinging contest if someone can fix an hvac system.
