I think it is......for $200 dollars you get a lot of HP gains on top end, and 7 or so HP across the board........It sounds to me like an excellent bang for the buck mod. Not sure if I would do this as a first mod, but definitely worth the money if you are planning to remain NA. Otherwise if you want, you can always do the topswap to it.

^^That is true.

But if you don't have the money for a Top Swap get the HV3 and a PLOG/3" DP/Ported TB/Intake...those should be good for a quick N/A car.
 
Also, since no one else has brought it up( I am actually surprised at this) Please read the safely modding your 3800 thread in the general tech section....Lots of info there. This thread should actually be a must read for all members....
 


okay thanks. i have intake and exhaust done. i was just wondering on what to do next. how much and how hard is the top swap?
 
ER rockers were the best gain i had N/A on top of a good tune. put nitrous on it for when you want to go fast

parts for it are around $500 if you look around for fair pricing on parts, if you need someone to install it that would probably be an additional $1000 dollars or more, depending on your shop and their rates
