How to remove dash cover in 04+ Gp

Hi, I have used the search function to no avail, maybe I am just blind. But is there a thread that will explain how to remove dash cover in 04 plus GP with no HUD? I have an annoying rattle/creaking sound to fix.

Thanks for any help you can give!
 


I think there is a thread floating around here somewhere on installing a HUD in 04+, I guess that might help a little if you reverse it? lol

i think it is in the same category but i need to replace the front hard plastic piece of my dash like where the defogger is. it has a crack on either side of it. and i want to replace it or fix it. i just dont know how to get it our. does any one here know how? i dont want to break it more by just pulling on it.

You've got mail sir. I am replacing my whole non-HUD dash with the HUD dash that I bought. It's crazy that you have to do the whole damn thing, and I'm not good with a dremel, so cutting was out for me! lol
 
Hello noom14921992.. i know that your last post is months old, but i just ran across it and reach out to you to see how you managed fixing or replacing the hard plastic that you said had cracks in it... I have an 08 grand prix and i just discoverd that i too have a large crack in that same piece.. Now im tryn to figure out what i can do to fix it... Hope you can help... Thanxxx
 


Hello, would you by chance still have the guide to take apart the dash of this car.. i too have cracks in the panel where the defogger is a need to repair it..
 
i recently noticed this as well on my 06 base gp. i'd like to get it fixed but don't know how to go about it. thanks!
