How to clear a malfunctioning TPMS???

Hello! This is my first post so I apologize if I suck at this.

I bought a 2007 Grand Prix GT that was missing two of the TPMS wheel sensors. I got new tires when it was time to switch and recently got a tire rotation. The car threw a TPMS light at me and a Service Tire Monitor System on the DIC. I checked my tires and the pressure was pretty normal all around the board, but I topped off two that were a little lower. I started the car up to see if anything changed and this time the TPMS light was flashing which I believe indicates a TPMS malfunction. I'm sure that its the two wheels without the sensors that are being dickheads, but I have no idea if I can just reset the TPMS and tell it to **** off (I didn't even get to reset it because everything online that I tried didn't work, and the manual only lists a matching process) or if it will just come back. Thanks in advance boys.

Why not just replace the 2 missing sensors and go from there? I doubt you can bypass part of the system without a tuner so it will likely keep complaining. Check RockAuto for the sensors if the tire shop wants too much for the parts.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have no problems with getting the sensors but I am unsure as to why its only complaining now and if it could possibly be something else? I looked around on the forums a bit and one dude said it went away after a few days of driving so ill just ignore it and see if it leaves me alone. If not then I'll probably grab the sensors and slap em in myself.
