How much of a "clunk" do you get shifting from park?

How much of a "clunk" is normal when shifting from park to reverse/drive? Can you explain somehow? Thanks.

I think mine is louder when going to revers...hbu?

Shouldn't clunk at all really.

If it does...you have failing mounts...and if the mounts aren't clunking...then the downpipe hitting the sway bar is probably making that noise.

Ok... so what mount do i need you think? and am i doing any damage? It was like that when i bought it Mad monkey lol.

You could break exhaust components if you leave it go.

This.

Get a solid rubber transmission mount and a factory replacement mount. Flip your upper mounts after you install both of those.

Then enjoy no movement...well...no movement compared to my entire poly'd engine...YEZ.

By that u mean solid engine mount and aold tranny mount? Should I just start with the tranny one? It's $100 plus shipping for both from zzp...

How hard to install too? Thanks.

there was just a thread about mounts, if you are stock, just get the stock replacements, they will last for years to come if you dont beat the car daily. and i think both mounts were like 90 bucks iirc.

They are really easy to change. It took me an hour and that was with a 25 min round trip to pick up the mount.
