How much HP can a 4T65E-HD 2.93 trans handle

Trans longevity really comes down to how it was built and how you drive.

I can kill a fully built trans in under 2,000 miles when driven properly. Or I could have a stocker go well past 186K miles when driven for that purpose.

That doesn't do a lot. A shift kit will help out a lot on the longevity of your trans.

the trans shop that i took my car to just put a new 4T65E trans in my car i had the 4T65E-HD in my 99 gtp and that had 2.93 gears in it what do i have now?

They should have put 2.93's in it or you would have some weird shifting issues.
