Hi guys car is on the meh side trans wise i feel the slip...... but figured hay i have NO cash so i might as well put a new filter and do a pan drop. how much fluid does it take to fill her back up guys for a pan drop?? thanks
 


if you can feel it slipping, leave it alone. changing the fluid is one of the worst things you could do right now
 
high so 3-4 but i just drove it around without performance shift on "i always keep it in performance shift" and without it in perf shift just now it shifts like showroom new soo crisp n clear but it has this sorta 1 to 2 second delay while shifting ?
 


if you drop the pan i would say about 12 quarts. when my diff blew to pieces she took about 12 quarts. fill it with a few and keep checking. dont just dump 12 quarts in and walk away

The reason why i did not answer your question is because if you are already slipping now, changing your fluid is going to do nothing for you but make it worse, maybe even not be able to be driven. Your best bet if its slipping for sure is to just let it ride until a rebuild.
 


you guys think thats what i should do? can it ever get better? it only slips in 3 and 4th is there any additives or w.e to make it better? =[ lol
 
cuz hnestly i have NO cash and i need a battery soon mine is sulfided =[ and a pain in the ass to start sometimes so battery is first..... and yeah im a poor college kid that needs my gtp so what is my best bet guys? change out the filter n fluid and maybe ad some additive and see what happeens?
