• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

how many miles does your 3.8 have??

is that 80 miles a day strictly to-from work? if so, the job must be payin enough that you dont have to move...

Yes, 40 miles each way. (It's all highway so it's been relatively stress free for the car). Work only, doesn't include any side trips or weekend activity's. Job pays well, just because it's in Hartford CT which pays better then anything in my home state of Massachusetts.

sooooo... you drive to the next state for your job? damz. maybe its cuz ive lived in Texas for so long... its like 200-1000 miles to the next state from Houston.

132,500 now - last one had 152,700 before I sold it and the clown that bought it threw in some 87 octance (or worse - off of a reserve) & let it rip on a hot day = new motor.

If I could stay in MA and make the same money as I do driving to CT every day I certainly would. There's just more opportunity 45 minutes away. Sometimes you just have to chase the opportunity.

if i were to drive 45 minutes, to work, i would barelly make into Downtown Houston. see, ive lived in Texas so long, that saying you drive to the next state for work sounds like its a looooong way. i drove from houston to LA and it took me 18 hours. 12 of those were driving through Texas. My '09 Aveo just broke 90,000. changing the timing belt at 100,000 for preventive maintenance on an already questionably built car. half S. Korean, half Mexican.

Yep, its alot more compact in the northeast. My father lives in Kittery ME and works in Manchester MA, he crosses two state lines and his drive is about 30mi one way. He also drives a Civic so he uses just over a gallon every day to get to and from work.

If I were to go for a drive from my home to New Jersey it would be about 8 hours, 500 miles, and I would cross 6 state lines.

oh, and current mileage is 227,600

232k running strong, changed the passenger side cv axle and about to change the drivers side. My car is lowered so the cv axles get stressed.

169k on the tranny and body of my '98. Original engine got replaced at 163k due to spun bearings, but new engine has 110k on it now and is running good.
