for the people out there with an anvil foot how long has your gtp been takin a beating....i tend to drive mine kind of hard wish i didnt but once i hear the blower i wanna floor it every time haha :th_biggrin2: i started with 83k and now im at 101k of all hard driven miles....hope she sticks in there like a tank!
 


I don't really beat on mine but, when i bought it, it was bone stock with 113k. Then i started modding over the year i have had it. Now it has 130k and the 4th clutch took a ****.
 
mines got 185xxx on it and I beat it like a red headed stesp child on the daily
only problems ive seen are the tcc is effin up and the gas mileage blows
but shes getting a tep tran and full rebuild next month
 
I bought mine with 24,000 andbeat the crap out of her ever since. On the street, hundreds of trips down the stip, autocross, and my daily driver. Here I sit at 172,000 miles 2 transmissions later, multiple axle shafts, tires, a couple wheel bearings and other misc. stuff but the motor ran strong til it was damaged by the trans shop, sad part is I can't prove it. I finished pulling theengine apart yesterday, all the bearings looked really good, very little...she lived on Mobil 1 since I bought her.

How about 6 motors and my 2nd transmission. Does that answer your questions?
 
I don't have a GTP, I just have a SE, but I got it June 2007 with 102,000 miles. I now have 149,000 miles on her. My boyfriend tells me every time I'm about to hit another thousand she's gonna blow. Nothing yet ;p Though my brakes sound horrible and every type of strut on the car is shot.

You just cant put it back together worth a ****. lol jk...... I bought mine at 128k I now have 148k and no real problems except for intake gaskets and blower motor resistor.
 
i drive the piss out of mine... i use royal purple oil, never had any engine probs. i have killed three transmissions in my GTP in a year and a half
 
And you guys want me to save up for a GTP.... I beat the **** out of my Integra for 40k miles and only had to replaced brakes, tires, and c/v axles. Sold it with nearly 200k miles, and still shifted like new, problems whatsoever.
 


Got mine in August of 02 with 55,000........ today it has 170,000 and i've only done maintence. Never blew up the tranny otr nothing. Still on stock CV joints too....
 
Bought mine in May of 2005. 112K miles, now I have 169K. Only thing to go wrong was the lower coolant intake....semi costly. I take it easy most of the time, but once in a while I open up.
 
been beating on my impreza since i bought it two weeks ago. thats why i broke it already, but its a stupid break. how in gods name do you do a brake job and not torque down the caliper bolts? i noticed a noise in my front end and only take it apart to find NO CALIPER BOLTS!! they were gone!
 
I bought my 2000 GT in 2003 with 38,000 miles. I now have 122,000 and haven't had any major problems. Still on the original trans. Haven't had too many problems. Oxygen sensors seem to be the biggest problem on my car. Other than that, just routine maintenance. Only mod is the aftermarket hood. I drive in traffic most of the day but when i see open road, i open it up a bit. It's cool to see so many of the cars on here with high mileage. I am shooting for 200,000. Some of you are really close :D

Were the thread in the mounting side ok In my brake class my buddy had me check his s10 and his caliper bolts were missing i got a new one put it in and same thing a week later we had to get the whole caliper kit

Im not sure how the subbi's are set up but it seems weird to just be missing
 


they werent tight. the other side were just as loose and we tightened them up. freakin stupid dealership techs.
 
engine rebuild 2 times.... but it had 135 on clock ha oohhh and my 4th clutch in trans splines are striped ha
 
I got mine bone stock at 121K 4 years ago. Turned over 170K on the way back from Branson. Currently on second engine and second transmission.
