how can i make my car sound loud but good?



I had one on my passat and it sounded good and quiet but that is a totally different motor. One that can actually sound good.
 
I'd just swap mufflers to borla if possible. I have some cheap mufflers on my car and it wouldn't sound to bad if i had a res. I plan on putting a glasspack res on it soon though.
 
I can't remember what the kid told me they were flowtech or something. It's the catback off my parts car I had.
 




Cars sound way different at idle and reving than they do driving down the highway. This is what mine sounds like with just a glass pack in it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjY1dQ2oenQ and it sounds alright at idle and while reving but sounds awe full on the highway I can record audio of my gtp running down the highway all it has a glass pack in it.

sounds like a good set up i just cant afford slp mufflers i think im just gonna leave the stock mufflers put a short glass pack as the res and do catless headers this summer
