• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Horsepower?

My intake is right behind my driver's side headlight. I made it out of 4" ABS and the biggest cone i could find. It was the first mod I did and I noticed a significant improvement immediately.

Probably because you had a dirty air filter.

You also notice sound.

Lots of it.

Compared to stock.

Sometimes... REALLY people just can't help themselves!

It's not about the PULLEY, try doing the headers first and you'll be amazed what that does for the engine.

READ A LOT before you even try to start modding the engine...

I knew it.... Get a gauge.... QUICKLY TOO.. Ask nick (bluegtp91) how he feels about zzp tunes
Or ask me how I feel about mine. If you are referring him to someone who dislikes them then it's only fair to him to hear about a positive experience.

LOL guys stop telling him wrong. The first mods should be suspension and brakes. Without those power becomes useless.

No beef... I value your opinion greatly, id trust a turbo can tune over a blown tune

No beef just saying. I had a ZZP canned tune on a previous GTP and it was supercharged. I had a canned intense racing tune on my current GTP when it was supercharged. I also had a canned CT tune on my turbo GP. In the S/C application I enjoyed both the intense and ZZP tune.

Actually my air filter was surprisingly clean, especially for living in a refinery town. I just changed it a few months back. And yeah I agree the sound definitely added a psychological factor to my perceived speed gains. But even taking that into account I noticed a much "smoother" acceleration, kind of the same feeling I got when I installed the headers. Like things were just moving better. Ofcourse nothing was tested, so i could be wrong. So it's up to the individual. I say a good CAI will at best give you some gains and at least make your blower sound like a very whiny monster.

I agree with the first mods, but if I could go back I would get a scangauge first. The pulley should be the icing on the cake though. That's like your reward from the pontiac gods for doing all the hard and "boring" mods first.
