I just got my hid's installed about a month ago and they look great. The problem that I am having that the fog lights(893 hid) seems to be melting the lens:th_angry-censored:. Does anybody have this problem? Yes the fog light assy are stock ones. Where can I get fogs that will not melt? :th_scratchhead:Thanks for the help guys.

I have the same problem it melted a little on the inside but never went through. Have been running them for 7 months like that

yeah same thing just giving them a green tint to the lights. Let me know if you find anything to solve this issue.

BoostenGP on the other forum I think has gone thru 3 sets of lenses with his HID setup. I just went with a projector setup on mine.

Cool what size dia are they? Is there going to be any gap? What color are the halo's? Post pix after you install please..

I have the same fog lights. I did mount them different than chriszilla, by cutting the projector braket in half and screwing them to the factory braket. on the factory braket I did have to cut out a section on top so i can gave the ability to adjust the light up or down. I did us lock tight on the screws and nut were they are screwed on to the factory braket and them i just hand tightend the screws were the projector bracket are tightened to the projector itself.

Your right, They do stick out a lil more but not too bad I guess. I would have painted the sides of them red to try to blend them a lil more. Thanks for the info.
