Hey I'm new to this site trying 2 get some tips on whateva cuz mechanics can't always be trusted..I got a 01 gtp with 113000 on it...It runs like a bat of hell...FAST ! I got some squeaky struts and a loud thump when I take off to the right....I noticed the right strut would move when the thump thumps so its prolly the bearing.....my rear and front end are bouncy when I push down on the frame so prolly need front and rear struts ???.........I wanna get new plugs are they hard 2 change? Besides this the car is solid !! Still shines like new....and o I know of some but can anybody gimme a nice cheap site to order parts from orrr is this the best
 


Welcome...watch what you say bout mechanics...I AM ONE!!jk...lol... yes plugs are a bit hard to change on these gtp's good luck...

What's up bro!

Regarding the thump, yes check the struts, but also check the outer tie rods.

I got a clunk, replaced the trans mount thinking it was it. Nope! Checked my struts, nope! It ended up being the outer tie rod. I greased it, even though they are not supposed to be, by poking a needle grease tip into the boot and loaded it with grease. They still need to be replaced but at least I narrowed the issue down.
 
Mechanic here also, not making friends to quick here lol, j/k Check your strut mounts, these things have a tail draggin problem anyway so my recommendation is to buy yourself some "quick struts" which is the spring, strut, mount all in one, you just unbolt the old and put the new one in and it feels like a new car.
