Help me get my idle right!

2005 GP L26, Gen V, L32 heads. S2X cam.

The car was dyno tuned with a short street tune after that and runs GREAT but has trouble idling, (surges and stalls out at every stop) I has the idle set to 950 and it was fine but I think that is a bit high. Id like it around 750-800 if that is possible. Any tips or ideas I should give my tuner? I am going back up there this weekend for him to try and sort it out...
 




Also sounds to me like you've got a vac leak.

The tuner said my IAT numbers were off and that it could be resolved by drilling a small hole in the throttle plate. Which I did which seems to have helped a bit. Would my PCV being blocked by the intercooler core have anything to do with this?
 
s2x is going to push a bunch of air at idle, and probably max your trims out. You also will want to run ~40 degrees of timing at idle.

I was going to go back up there this week after work, but I ordered the Devils Own Meth kit.. Ill add that, put my 3in pulley on and then go back up there.
