HELP! Guppie dead on frwy...

HELP PLEASE! Sorry that I have to ask the wide bodies to solve the "GUPPIES" all of a sudden hiccup. I got a 2001 Sunfire, 5 speed, 2.2 liter engine. I stopped an got gas, pulled off an on the freeway, next thing I see (ABS) icon popo up on the dash, then the battery icon pops up. The lites start to go dim along with the heater is not workin proper either. The only reason Im asking is cause Im on frwy, no freakin flash lite, on cell tryn to get the freak home. can anyone help.

alternator might have crapped out turn off all unnecessary electronics and you'll get to drive a little further.

Corrosion on battery terminals? Clogged intake? Rat's nest in filter? Clogged fuel filter?

Well my sunfiree "Guppie" is sooo freakin haunted!!! Car works fine, just fine, only a few hours after I posted my "help cry". BUT then here again I'm gettin battery,seatbelt, brake and now abs icon on bash panel. Lost my speedometer and rpm needles. Wow really, I just can't get a big enough hammer to sack my car. That's just my thought at current moment of thought.

I'll bet your alternator is going out. Get it checked at advance or autozone

Two months ago got the battery light on my ride, it was the alternator. Changed it in the parking lot of autozone haha, took longer to set my radio up. It's easy on a GP, don't know about a Sunfire.

sounds like the alternator. gonna need to have it checked/fixed
