Help Gtp's running bad

I have a 1999 gtp with 227,ooo miles the other day check engine light poped on and it started dying. I made it to autozone and had it scanned it needed a new mass air meter,got one put it on seemed to fix it. No more light runs good, until it gets over 4000 rpms it almost feels like a rev limiter is engaged and still no light was doing this slighty before at full throttle at higher r's though. I'm at a loss.

What code did you throw? P0102? It feels like you're hitting the rev limiter while driving?

yeah that is the code it threw (p0102)

Its not the rev limiter it just goes, dosent, then goes like its running out of gas or not getting spark.Could it be the map sensor.

The check engine light is off now I take it? Have you tried driving with the MAF unhooked?

Light is off no havent unplugged maf. I'll try that.

Your fuel pump might be getting tired at high supply times.
