I have been searching through the forum for a while and I can't find the answer I'm looking for. I recently bought a 2000 Grand Prix GT with no overdrive. I'm planning to do a salvage yard swap as money is tight. My question is do I need to use a GP transmission or will a Regal tranny work? The Regals that I have found are cheaper and have lower miles. Thanks for any help.
 


please post this question in the general tech section below.....it will get answered much faster. I do not know the answer to this question....
 
Thanks for the response, how do I match up the tags? My trans is a BCB and the Regals are listed as either APB or ARB. I guess I don't know what the letters mean.
