Heat shield for the ZZP front PLOG??

What does everyone do for a heat shield if I decide to get a PLOG from ZZP? Is there any way to reuse the stock heat shield for this PLOG? Is it advised to make a new heat shield? Does a heat shield for this do much good?

Reusing the heat shield will cause the PLOG to crack. Toss it in the garbage with the stock manifold...where they both belong.
