Headlight rejuvenation

What is the best way to clean up the lens on the headlights. I know they sell kits for thi, however is there an easier way. I've heard that "Brasso" does the job, but I'd like tom see any recommendations from the forum

I wet sanded my wifes gagt with 1000 grit then 2000 grit and then used a headlight polish kit i got from autozone. I spent about an hour on each light and it turned out pretty good.

just today i used a porter cable orbital buffer on my head lights, wet sanding with soapy water and 2000 grit paper will cut any haze you have, the buffer will bring it back to a clear shine, by hand will be quite hard to do.

Took mine to a body shop and had them sand blast them for $20
