Headers to wrap or not? Trying to keep TB cool

Was thinking about atleast wrapping the crossover on my SD headers in an attempt to keep TB cool what do you think guys? Or the whole set? What about TB heat shield? doesnt seem like it would work that well to me.Using plastic intake tubing and mounting filter in fender opening.Anything else i could do or not worth it?

header wrap is always good, keeps the heat in the exhaust tubing keeping velocity up and increasing scavaging. down side is it lowers your headers life span, corrosion sometimes cracks at the flanges.

and if i understood right, tb heat shield does not really help much pcv intake tube and filter in fenderwell is about the best you can do.

The minute you aren't moving...your entire engine bay is heat soaked.

Metal TB heat shields are nothing but a way to slice your hands when doing any work on the car.
Wrapping the exhaust/crossover isn't helping you enough to bother IMO.

Yay, another worthless thing that won't make a sh1ts lick of difference for intake temps or under the hood temps for that matter.

Guy, you be beating a dead horse.

Where the does the exhaust run...RIGHT OVER THE TRANSMISSION.

Go make some custom long tubes that go under the motor and move the heat source away from the engine bay.

But then you have the Heaton M90 sitting on top of the motor heating up the TB and everything else as well because of how innefficient they are.

But, go ahead and wrap stainless steel so it warps. That's another good idea. :)

Thats why i asked you guys and i know what has been said before about it but the crossover is like 2 inches from the TB is all.You guys have saved me from making mistakes before and a lot of wasted time, i appreciate all the input. And will leave well enough alone with the headers i am just lacking a pulley (3.5)and to send my PCM to Sinister and be ready to roll.
