• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

HEADER Q''S (searched for but no luck)

OK......so I have searched the entire forum for all my header needs and questions and to no avail my results were just as I expected, only part of my question was answered while the actual answer I need was all over the place (meaning the only thing agreed on was proper clamps which I have and to use rtv for complete seal quality) but the main question I have is what else besides those two things are needed to ensure proper installation and to keep me moving forward with my modding of the prix (meaning once it is in it's done).

...also I have the ssac headers and from what I have read through the forum they have made the necessary corrections but of course a lot of the post I read were a little out dated,so if anyone has ran them recently your input would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks!

Yup sure did! Very insightful...I guess the main thing I really wanna know is is it recommended or not to get new seals and bolts for if the just in case s**t factor wants to show it's ugly mug.lol!

What seals and bolts?

If you tear up a exhaust to head bolt, you'll be drilling and tapping. My suggestion there is to keep the socket straight when you pull them. Although I have never broken a bolt yet. Never personally had one give me a hard time. As long as you don't lose any of them...you should be fine.

Gaskets, I reuse the stock factory MLS gaskets. I do give them a wipe off, but that's it.

Only bolt's you'll want to have on hand will be for the catback connection. Those often fight.

Gotcha!.....that was the answer I was looking for, like I said before as I was reading up on the necessary items for the install it seemed to me a lot of the info was all over the place even though it was a lot of helpful post.
