i dont have much of and issuie with the sut from running no cat. over a time you can notice it but it easily washes off.

stock cat-back on a white car. maybe after a month i can start to tell, but its nothing crazy. nothing i would write home about.

It's kind of cool and kind of dumb to have soot on your rear bumper.

Cool because people usually don't see that so to me, I think "oh dam this guy has something in his car".

But it is dumb because your car gets dirty. I'm gonna run a cat. Sould lower the volume of the exhuast note also.

ok guys i have been reading this link and i am wondering what to do i just ordered my ssacs headers and i am looking to replace my cat because its not working properly i saw a cat Magnaflow catalytic converters - $59.99 in zzperformance. will this cat do the same as everyother cat out there because here in mass you have to go through inspection. my car is a 2004 gtp comp g

Yes, but its not as thick as the stock cat so you might have to get a tune to make sure you pass emissions if they actually do a sniff test.

Other than that, it'll be more than good.

I can get a sound clip if you would like, but no video other than my cell phone, and I'm sure it wouldn't be very good quality.

sorry to ask one more time if i get the magnaflow cat. what should i run from the headers to cat and cat to stock exhaust? because they offer 2.5 or 3 inch ?? i have 2004 gtp. i am not sure what if i need 2.5 in/out or 3 in/out.

Yea I'm wondering the same thing.. 3in headers to 3in cat to 2.5in tubing? Or 3in headers to 2.5in cat to 2.5in tubing?

3" headers > 3" cat > 3"-2.5" reducer > cat-back flange.

Stock cat-back is 2.25", BTW, but the flange accepts either a 2.25" or a 2.5" mate.
