Leaving powerband at that shift point? That's the challenge to get it to shift and or make it stay within the powerband. That's how some certain mods actually hurt. Sure, it improves HP or TQ, but what good is that outside of the powerband?

That's how Chevy got away with a lot of thier posts for the most HP. Yes, they had it, but how often do you drive around at over 6500 RPM?
