Here are some facts:

-He has the blower on his car. Congrats for that
-You are gauging HP by your butt but your butt has been riding in an already slow car.
-You like Slow's butt
-Slow obviously ripped someone off by selling his Gen V to them for $700
-Still no REAL concrete numbers.

Lots of numbers and "claims" have been thrown around. If Slow or you had just a little but of humbleness about you, people would probably be more receptive to your posts and "claims". As for right now I could care less about what you personally have to say unless it has something to do with new information or progress. Your posts are like a lawyer trying to tell a room full of doctors how to do surgery.

1-Thanks, the blower is on the car and running... It's making so much power that I need to upgrade my already upgraded injectors!

2-My Regal made his 250whp GTP look like he was in reverse... it's a good guess that the car makes decent power.

3-Someone's jealous!

4-If you call a 10,000 mile GenV with a ported inlet, MPS hub and 3 pulles along with a N* TB for $700 a rip off, you're just a moron.

5- "Real" numbers are coming. Until then I'll continue to leave clouds of smoke behind me from the tires burning from 50mph rolls.

Comparing yourself and the other rejects on the other board to "doctors" of the 3800 world is laughable. Your entire forum is built upon the views and ideas of about 3 people, all of which have the collective intelligence of a 3rd grader.

Nick, If you are maxing the injectors... I'm unsure of the boost/flow vs say a Gen V with 2.8" pulley on it. However you might want to check your fuel pump. Last I knew it was the high mileage stock unit. If that's the case, your fueling might be related to the pump not keeping up.
 
the only way you'd know that is if you were monitoring your fuel pressure and it was dropping off up top.
 


At the rate GenV's are going now...your going to be lucky to recoup a quarter of the price this build is going to cost you.

Spent about $1800 and got $700 back from the sale of my GenV setup. I recouped more costs by selling the M62 that I had for mock-up... about half of what the build cost to be exact. Guess I was lucky... or just made good decisions and had a solid grasp on what I was getting myself into.

SO...go spend all this money on this cool TVS blower (that has been done on a Regal already back in the day) and I'm going to toss a tiny little turbo and run 8-10psi on my silver car and make tons more power and go faster.

No one's ever done what I did back in any day. Spent under a grand and I'm maxing injectors that should be good for 350whp. Let's see your tiny little turbo in action. Oh it's not done? Or even close to done? Or even a thought... or just an empty insult?

Perhaps a closer look at the behavior of other members (especially a certain admin) towards myself would have yielded a more informed response. Not once in that thread did I lie about anything. I have pics and videos of the M62 on the car prior to the TVS being swapped in. BTW the project has been completed so I did in fact know it WAS going to happen. I came to this forum for a different perspective and more ideas from a variety of people who otherwise wouldn't have ever seen the swap. Instead of getting that, I was attacked, bashed, harassed and then targeted once I spoke out against other members and mods/admins. It was disgraceful how I was treated and this is 100% a reflection on the forum as a whole.

Need I say more? Anyone with half a brain is knows SVTp is full of the most irrational "thinkers" in the world. However, lie I did not. Check the threads out again and you'll see a theme that shares a lot in common with my M62 swap thread. Although depending on your views going into it you may arrive at the same conclusion anyway and all you would have done is waste your time.

Also, so far...unless he prodcuces the plates/adapters and all the stuff you need to make the TVS work...so far, it isn't just "bolt-on".

And upgrading a blower your still going to need flow mods...you can't expect to gain anything with letting the motor breathe when your trying to force more air into it....more efficient or not.

If I had to do the swap again it would be "bolt on". All the little issues were solved.

Your second comment shows the limit of your understanding regarding the differences in the blowers. Efficiency, drag, and delta temps are exactly what allow you to "force more air into it".

Maybe you can reevaluate why I act the way I do towards certain people. Clearly you see I maintain normal, civil, and intelligent conversations with a number of members on club gp. Hopefully you can all take a step back and try to see things for what they really are!

As for the swap... so far it's been great, the car moves out hard and the injectors being maxed out is a pretty clear indication of the power it's making.
As soon as I eliminate low fuel pressure as a possible reason why the car is going lean, I'll order up some 60# injectors and hit the dyno.

I doubt the CGP thread is going anywhere so regardless, the results will be available, snow willing.

To be fair, if someone were to skip a gen V this would cost them $2000.

Thats used turbo kit range.

Do you still have a stock fuel pump? Bill said earlier in this thread that that could be causing your lean issue.
 
whoever puts this thread in the wrong direction gets to hear from me. don't go there.

ive been keeping up with this just because its interesting on my behalf. the idea of a smaller blower making more power is always intriging. how much more power is yet to be seen and i look forward to the real deal. keep up what you're doing. let's see where it goes.

im still a firm believer that your fuel pump is what is holding you back right now, not injectors.
