GXP rims on a GT

I bought a 2005 gtp today with GXP rims and the car needs new tires.. I know the gxp uses different size tires on the front and back. What size should I put on my gtp? Should i put all the same size ?

Check to make sure you actually have 2 different sized rims first. People like to swap them to have 4 of the same size when putting them on other cars.

You can run all the same tire even if they are staggered. I don't know what the best tire is for that, but I know it's been brought up on here before.

are you sure it's a 345? i'm willing to bet you meant to say 245. if that's the case I would stick with that size because it's way more common than the size on the actual GXP. ask me how i know.

It has 245/45/18 s on it. Front and back. So if I have GXP rims. Just make sure the 18x8s are in the front ?? Also I think I have a GT. When I start it up. It says wide track on the screen. I believe it was top swapped with supercharger / heads

It won't make a difference on a non-GXP, because GXP suspension is different, but yeah wider in front on a FWD. Being in Detroit, it's entirely possible you have aftermarket Alcoa "GXP" rims, as they are all over craigslist for a good price.

GTP says "Widetrack" too. Does your info center have an "Engine Boost" page?

Yes. It says engine boost. Like when you hit the gas. The bar fills up. Other than that, nothing else about boost. The trunk says GT but the guy I bought it from said he replaced the trunk. What else are some signs that it’s a GTP or a GT?

The trunk has the RPO codes, so that's out.

If it's got a supercharger, it's probably factory. Look at the intake and manifolds. Topswaps are a lot of work, you wouldn't do one and not upgrade those too. If it was sold to a dealership, the VIN wouldn't match the engine type either and might raise some flags.
