GXP rear tire size Q

So the stock rear tires are 225/50/18. I need two new rears and am planning to go with 245 width. But what size sidewall do I need to go with? Don't say 245/45/18. I'm running those on my spare wheels atm and it looks stupid.
 




Hokay,since so many folks said 245/45/18 is the correct size I couldn't not step outside and double check my tire sizes. Looks like my spares are 245/40/18. My fail. Still glad I asked anyways.
 
No matter what you do the 04 grandprix has a huge body 18" wheels look a tad funny. 19-20" wheels are the only wheels that fill up the wells. But 245/45/18 is perfect its the same size I run as well man
 
^^^I would go with the 8" wheels on all 4 corners if I had that kind of money to blow. Unfortunately I don't.

There's your problem. 245/40/18 is an inch too short. 245/45/18 is the size you need.
