• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Guess why my car produces 0 boost. Taking bets.

Now your cars a forklift? How did you have the throttle closed if the SC was off? So you mean you took a sc off just to get at the plugs so now you would have had to reseal the SC and put the injectors back in and wiring harness and fuel rails?..... Riiiiiight that sure sounds smart to me.. Or you could just replace the damn plugs and get at them without touching the sc or wiring or injectors or fuel rails all of which would have to come off in order to get the SC off.... Shhh just incase you didn't know......

Long story short taking the SC off makes ZERO difference all it does it added to the possible things you have fvcked up.......

If he has a brain then bless your heart. Done feeding the trolls. Both you and Corey were talking **** so I know you are trolling.

Talking sh1t about how mindless and ignorant your being? Yup lets all check the compression on our forklifts and say our 3800 has 180 psi of compression.......

None of us are chasing our tail around trying to find out that our car has a junk engine that's blown up.........

Is your 1st name Herpa last name Derp?

Look I could go out right this second and do a compression check show you it reads within a few ticks of 180 and you would ask for video.

done with you two.

if anybody has something helpful to add that's great.

please show me pics of a 138k mile 3800 with 180 psi on a compression gauge.... email me your paypal and ill even send you 20 bucks.......

Put your money where your mouth is......

whoa whoa whoa lets not get carried away lets start with pics of all 6 @ 180 psi and ill send 20 bucks via paypal.........

Man of my word OP ask around here.... LOL!

You mean bottom swapped with a NA bottom end retard....... top swapping a 04+ would be putting a gen3 on the OP's gen5 car........

It hurts to be that dumb doesn't it? Having the SC off makes all the difference. There is no restriction, unrestricted access to the rear plugs (not that it's difficult anyway).

i did a compression check last week on our forklift and it was 180 on 3 cylinders and 120 on one cylinder. Also depending on exactly how the test is preformed leave the throttle closed and you will have lower readings

OMG I just figured out why id makes ZERO boost!!!! You forgot to put the SC back on after you did your magical compression test!

I've read most of your threads. Commented on a few. But at this point these guys are right. You have a more serious issue that you are ignoring. And are basically trying everything to not admit the motor is most likely fubar. Sorry man.....

Just read the whole post. Stop arguing with the people trying to help. Go do a boroscope and post pictures of all 6. Sounds to me like your motor is toast. Mine was for 60k miles before I noticed... Its possible to have a chipped piston and run fine for awhile. I will lock this thread an every other thread if the arguing and sheer denial of any help continues....

quick questions.
1. is this a naturally aspirated engine originally L26, check the 8th digit on your VIN, is it 2 or 4
2. if it is a L26 did you swap over your MAP sensor to a 2 BAR from a L32 or did you reuse the original one,
3. if it is a L26 then you have a 1 bar MAP sensor.

Alright let's let bygones be bygones. I still say my compression test was near 180, and I will prove it and show it.

Dezebe1 to answer all your questions it's an 05' GTP, VIN 4 for engine code

I will get back to this when I have more time.

Jeff
