Guess my 1/4 mile time

I'm hitting up Muncie dragway tomorrow to run my car. Guess my time. Closest one gets a prize :D 04 comp g s1x cam, yella tella 1.8 rockers, stage 3 ish heads, zzp headers, fsic, corsa catback, will be running on my 3.0 and if it gets a good time my 2.8 as well.

Not kidding you I had a better ET and MPH with my 07 back when it was all stock except for: 3.0 pulley, meth injection, TD exhaust, that's it. nothing else.

Ran 13.4 @ 106 mph with winter tires with next to no traction, went TD turbo kit bam... 12.0 117 mph but this time ET street.

You just don't have the power to run 12s at all, even with slicks, you'll just bog out the hole. You'd need at least 107-108 mph plus a 1.9x or maximum a 2.0x 60 foot.

My old 97 GTP with 2.6 pulley av gas+ meth injection and TD exhaust plus weight reduction went 12.9 @ 107 mph with a 1.9x 60 foot on street tires. But it was much lighter than the 07 and a smaller pulley.

I'm really starting to think those "flow" mods are a little overrated... not that they don't anything but they don't change the game that much.
I think where the biggest gains are is in the KR reduction. If you get rid of the knock with good fuel and/or meth injection, then you will make close to the same power.

You are totally right, this is as dumb as some idiot with a turbo'd car putting a new 7/8's in when he know's it's gonna stretch again and again.

Wait.. that's you! :p

Cmon bill you know better, 7/8s is going back in the 330whp 400wtq E85 S1x cam gen5 car........ ONLY becasue its cheapest, quickest and easiest way to get this car on the road. Save the 1inch for turbo caged car project.

Turbo car is no worries (yet) Ive got plans for a 1inch or something else.......... if anything a 7/8s in that car will be a bandaid to get the car going until it stretches, at least with that I can shake the bugs out and get the car running for cheap. Plus chain job isnt that big of a deal. (Not an entire rebuild anyways)

As for dan, I'd like to see what happens with the tune sorted out and the trans fixed/replaced.

Shifting at 6200. I know it'll pick up a lot with a new trans it really bogs hitting the limIter into 2nd. I don't have any kr on that run. Afr was 11.5

Your car absolutely does not hit a rev limiter.
What's happening is your ETC is closing the throttle body before the shift.

It also sounds like its going nowhere once it hits 2nd gear.
Something very wrong going on here.

That^^

On the 04+ cars, you have to change the ETC rpm limiter, or it makes it kind of feel like your hitting the rev limiter.

lol im noob tuner so ill stand buy and watch shhhhh nevermind me if your going to call people out.........

Edit disclaimer* by noob i mean copy and paste stage.

"lol @ snowflake telling the guy who was driving that his car isn't hitting the rev limiter"

Sorry for being right all the time.

It didn't hit the rev limiter.

I said that **** on facebook when I first saw the video last night.

It's other issue(s)
