Thanks brandon but yea i cant post pix nd yea that is my new engine with my rattle can two tone paint job going in mycar yes my gtp is almost back ready to ride... Thanks to drew (lrscgod) an amazing friend even better mechanic...

TODAY JUNE SEVENTH.. IM GOING TO COMPLETE THE ENGINE TOPP OFF FLUIDS AND CRANK THE CAR hoPEFULLY... FIRST START UP VIDEOS WILL BE POSTED... GOOD OR BAD.. I HOPE I CAN GET A TUNE OUTTA THIS THING AND IT SOUNDS LIKE MUSIC....

AS FOR WHAT IVE DONE SINCE THE LAST UPDATE...
1.GOTTA NEW USED ENGINE
2.CHANGED OIL PAN,VALVE COVERS,TB,BLOWER,LIM GASKETS ON THE NEW ENGINE
3.PAINTED VALVE COVERS, INJECTORS, BLOWER, TB, FUEL RAIL, ENGINE BRACKETS COMING AT A LATER TIME
4.ADDED HEADERS AND FULL EXHAUST ALSO CHANGED.. NOW CATLESS AND RESLESS
5. TUNE FOR PULLEY DROP THEN THE DROP ITSELF..
6. TR66 PLUGS ALSO ARE USED WITH A 180 TSTAT....
7. ALSO WENT FULL SYNTHETIC WITH MOBILE 1 OIL
THATS ALL FOR NOW

new engine was flooding and thined out oil= spun bearing again

yupp... gotta total of two hours of running outta the engine.. then the clacking started... and it kept shutting off

It had to be some serious flooding to thin the oil enough for a spun bearing.
It was probably ready to go anyway.

When you yank the motor back out pull a couple main caps and check the clearance...I'll bet there up around 0.003".
Also pull the front cover and see if the gerotor has worn into the front cover.

This is why I always check the clearances on a used 3800 before installing it. It's a lot more expensive but worth every penny.

took a lot to get it where it is now but hell its progress.... its running fine still working out a few glitches... but all that matters is its running.... thankx drew
