It's not really a kill because i knew i'd win anyway but i wanted to see how much my mods did for me. I ran my buddies stock 99 regal gs with 211K on it. I pulled about 4 car lengths on him and let off at about 75ish. I'm pretty impressed with my car for no more then I've done to it.
 


Rockers should really wake it up on the big end. I had modded 1.9's on one of my previous GTP. Car woke up around 4K RPM. Great bang for the buck. You won't regret it. :)
 
I'm try to get some cash together so i can get some i'd love to have rollers but i don't see that happening.
 
Meh you will be fine with some modded 1.9's. I even ran the stock valve springs and never had an issue. :)
 


I ran the modded 1.9 rockers from ZZP so that is all I can base my information on. IIRC they were around $279 + the core charge. I'll probably end up picking up another set for my turbo GP. :)
 


While I agree 110%...my rockers did nothing to impress me compared to my XP. Totally worth the extra money.
 
When the motor quits i have another laying in the garage i'll cam before it goes in, but i know the trans will go first because it's slipped into od since i've had it (201K miles)
