gtp trans is out

got the trans out the bottom. all went well. heavy lol. looks like imma need a rack soon it leaks a lil on both sides........ wat else i cant even really mod it out at all im still catchin up on repairs wtf... dearborn axle got a rack i wuill price it and let everyone know the price and warranty info. will keep everyone posted on the process. also trans fluid is at question, i would like to put just reg valvoline dex 4 or 5 but the local stores dont sell it, they sell their brand...um no. the others are way way too much. i dunno if this trans even works, i have to swith the internal wiring harness bcuz it was ripped out of the car........and the range switch....also on the other end the speed sensor was touched by the harness fire the trans came from, so i will switch that. after it works then ill do a filter and trans fluid change with better fluid. alright. im wore out lol. how the he** am i gonna get this thing up in there lol. wow

create a lift from a jack/boards set up.......make sure it is stable......and dont do anything unsafe.

So youre swapping in a used tranny? Might as well do a rebuild while youre there.

liquifire the jacks and boards worked well, thanks. its amazing wat u can do with a few bucks lol im good with just doing a USED trans for now. minichopper6hp with all those mods, my car would need alot more than a rebuild lol. sumthin would have broke lol! also i know i can do a rebuild i just needed something working so i can get things, the original trans is actually not too bad, but does need attention. glad u guys stop and are up to date. i do not know how to do sum things on here like photos......signature, even tho i have tried to make and do all these tricks..dont work i guess...any help with that? ideas?
