It depends, obviously your car is of the 04 or newer vintage, you do not have the option of adjusting the DRL's pre-04.You can disable the daytime running lights via your information center (computer in dash) Personally, I leave the option turned on for my wife who is button challenged anyway for the following reasons. Lights are set to automatic so they come on at night or when too dark. Lights are required in California when it's raining so wife doesn't have to remember to turn them on. Some two lane roads through mountains, forests, etc. have posted a "Daytime Headlights Required", so don't have to think about it. Also, the daytime lights do not affect the dash lights, so you can see the radio, clock, info center, etc. during the day.
And of course I want people to see me coming, especially if I'm running between 100 and 140. Yes, my little factory 3800 GT w/SC will go that fast, I would just feel better about it if it was rear wheel drive instead.
