• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

gto swap

still back to my case i think it would be better cost friendly and parts both right up from the GXP if you bought a wreck. All wheel drive has been discussed but dont plan on it being anything like a subie or eveo its FWD biased like the others said. I still say find a GXP wreck keep all the good stuff and sell the body panels and whatever else you dont need.

i can pick on 5.7 auto gto's with some basic bolt ons.

the gto's aint really all that fast. the 6.0s do move out better. alot has to do with there tuning and weight. they dont put down as much power as a camaro with the same motor but the camaro weighs less.

basically take a sawzall to the underside of the grand prix, cut everything out until you can literally walk, still touching the ground, from the engine bay back to the trunk of your car. Then fab up a new frame and you are now ready to start fabbing up everything else. It's similar to a top swap.

hahaha yeah its about as easy as spending 20 grand on a gto...
