GT vs GTP. With 2 Videos!

Alright so here you go. My friend and i decided to race, he has a stock GT with intake and i have a stock GTP with intake. We just wanted to see how much faster the GTP is. I was quite impressed how much quicker the GTP is. they truely are fast cars for being a grocery getter. This was my first race ever so bare with me. Had my girlfriend tape the videos. First race was from a dig, awful start for me, i burned brand new Pireli tires for about 10 seconds, listen to how long it was. Second video was a 30 to 90 pull.

He has GTP badges cause he's a wanna be. Those are fake. He's an actual GT. the video is taken inside my GTP and a GTP isn't a 16 second car.
 


Nice runs man, but a little constructive criticism if I may? You can't just floor a torquey FWD car off the line and expect it to go anywhere. You should have raped him out of the hole. Practice easing into it with as little tire spin as possible. And IMO the GTP didn't look much quicker on the roll. Only 2 cars? Should have been more than that.

Tell your friend to take those badges off too, that's really really gay and just makes real GTP's look bad. Some kid in a stock cavalier is going to beat him one day and then go around bragging that he beat a GTP. lol

Also are you sure your pulley is stock? Looks aftermarket to me.

Criticism is welcome. It was my first race ever, i'm just beginner. I even said to myself before hand not to floor it cause I knew this would happen, but once it was race time I totally forgot. The first dig race was awful and I admit it. Live and learn. Second run was from 30 to about 90, I didn't actually hit 90, I think I hit the brakes around 86. All of this was driver error. If there was someone good in my seat, they would of owned the GT. but I suck, at least I won and thats what matters to me. Just a little fun with a friend
