The 305 is still a sbc so there is a ton of cheap performance parts out there but it'll never get the gas mileage of the gtp or have the resale of it. Save up $1000 and go but a 3rd gen if that's what you want.
 
The 4th gen Camaro is the ugliest thing ever. And I agree 100 percent with smutty.
