Any good transmission shops that someone can recommend? It appears I've lost overdrive. As much as I don't like putting the money into fixing a car with 173k miles, it would be cheaper to put in a rebuilt transmisison than to buy something new. Especially since I'm now using the car to deliver newspapers. Don't really need OD when I'm delivering, but going to and from the warehouse I do. And, a rebuilt transmission probably will give me another 100k.
Cotton transmission in Lagrange is the best I know about btw I'm Nate I have imp ss but I use the Gp forums because of the wbody platform is pretty much the same just with different wrappers
Paintball was just a shooting range with some people as moving targets. meh. The main event was a much better use of time and money.
Anxious for this! I am still really hoping to have my Fiero put back together/drive able when this goes on.Finally settled on a location.
The car show is going to be on March 30th right here: 1032 marietta parkway - Google Maps from 10am to 4pm.
Admission cost will probably be $5 and registration will be around $10.
You are the second person on here to say that, so I am leaning more towards having him tune my car once it is finished. What is your mod list? How much did the tune cost? Please let me know! Within a few weeks I will be expecting my build to be done and be ready for some tuning. If anyone in the Atlanta area is looking for a tuner Jeff at EngineeredPerformance is a great guy. Had my car tuned by him in Marietta and was very pleased with the experience. He knowswhat he is doing.
I was told by someone else on here that he does build transmissions.Does he build transmissions?

This may be a stupid question, but did you have a wideband? I have absolutely zero knowledge on tuning, but have heard that having a wideband makes it easier to do?High comp short block, 3.5 pulley,vs cam and ported blower. Tune was $500 and took about 2 hrs on the dyn
I have a transmission he rebuilt in my GP now. I use my GP for delivering newspapers, so lots of stops and starts daily while putting over 100 miles a day on it. I might be getting rid of my GP in a few weeks, so if you want a running coupe for parts, I know where you can find one.
He had a transmission available on the bench, so I didn't have to leave my car with him. I just paid for parts up front for the rebuild, and he contacted me when he was ready to install it.
Why are you parting out your GP? When I get my tax refund any day now I am going to be looking for a Regal GS/GTPI have a transmission he rebuilt in my GP now.
