91parkave said something about his wheels being dipped. Have you done anything to yours? I have done done some research on Alcoa vs GM knock offs. That got me looking at my wheels and I notice some scratching. So I was wondering if there is a way to refurbish them. Last night on "Wheeler Dealer" they refurbish some wheels. I curious what something like that cost? Maybe 91parkave can jump in.heres a pic i took yesterday of her..

I wonder how deep a scratch they can handle?Hey man the rims can be repolished to a like new state. I've had rim guard give me an estimate and they said 150 per rim. That would include stripping the old clear coat off, polishing the metal, and re clear coating.

My wife is taking the GXP on it's first road trip, I asked her to keep track of the gas milage so I can see how bad it's going to be.I wanted her to take the GT for that reason, but I could tell she really wanted to take GXP. She going to Tulsa for weekend. I tried to use the "did not want to hail on it" reasoning, but she came back with the "I could take the Mustang", so I gave in. :-(. We had a little texting this morning, I asked her to try and keep it under 130, she said she would try.
. I not sure if her smiley face was thinking I was joking or that 120 is under 130.
They can fix curb rash and all on them unless u just hit curbs all the time lol. Cause the clear coast is pretty thick. Post pics and I'll tell ya if they can or not. Also check em out online just search for rimguard.
When you say "full tune up" is that refreshing parts and/or mods? The CID is showing 20.4 avg, but can you trust them? I have the mileage for the GT, I will check it with calculated and report back. And when I got my gxp I was only averaging 20ish but since I've done a full tune up on the car my average mileage has increased to 23.7 as it sits now.

Also I notice the shading around the lights, is that from the way the picture was taken? Can you do a more front on shot. The pieces right at the left edge between the upper and lower grill, can't quite make it out.
Its literally a couple of links below this one in the 5.3 section

thank you. i love them and it seems like a ton of other people like them too.Love that color. The black wheels go well with it. Black wheels don't look great on most colors

Yea the dic is pretty close...I've hand calculated mine before and it was almost the same. But by tune up I mean msd wires. NGK tr6ix plugs HAI fuel tune up. Cleaned the TB and MAF and new tires and all.
Also the wider tires should be the fronts
woo hoo, no more locking mechs on my car. After the stereo jacking i realized something, If they need to pop the key hole lock why not remove it? I put on a rear door handle with no key hole. IF they want in there gonna work for it
