Plasti dip man. Less work same results harder to **** upDon't drive it much honestly, even though I have 3 vehicles for myself I drive the wife's whenever I can lol
Leaning very heavily towards spray on bedliner for the body. That way I don't have to be perfect with the bondo, and it won't scratch like paint, no waxing or maintenance other than a hose and a brush for washes. It would just kill me though if I spent all the time getting her perfect and straight and then a lot of money on paint and it got scratched or hailed on again. So I'm gonna go with bed liner, and I've seen truck beds hold up way better to hail cause of this stuff too.
Absolutely no go fast plans with it, I do need to add a trans cooler still. I have an old 4t65e from a 99 that was fully built and has the 300m input shaft sitting in my shed right now, will be using it for a rebuild when this one pukes. All future go fast stuffs will be with my GTO
Plasti dip don't last, scrapes off too easy, too thin so body work would have to be near perfect.
Same with vinyl wrap... to thin and too shinny to hide anything.
And neither will do anything against hail like a thick coat of bed liner will. And it's not like I'd save much with either VS what paint would cost me. It's just a lowly DD that I don't really even DD that often... I have no problems at all leaving it the way it is either lol
So how are we gonna do the calendar?
