Right so my question still remains... I know of the things the 05's didn't have in comparison to 06' and up. I believe 07' could have been the best year if you are going based on content. The 07's had more color options, and the earlier ones still had the Alcoa's. I know the cruise control moved to the turn signal stalk in that year as well. I personally like the GM knock offs better. Fatter spokes and no rivets.

Also, I kinda like the little GM badge. It was started to show unity throughout the brands. Even though Pontiac is no more, GM lives on. Despite all of that, no other domestic company made anything like our cars.

And cruise control moved gp the turn signal thing around the end of 05 beginning of 06. I've seen 05's with em on there and my 06 is on there.

Well yes though GM lives on it is no longer the same gm. Old GM is now liquidation something or another I forget. The new gm is like general motors corporation instead of general motors company or something like that and they had to sell the trademark GM box.... GM still makes great quality vehicles but by removing Pontiac they removed what was initially created to be their performance division and one of their top sellers despite what everyone believes. Pontiac and Chevy were their two top sellers, along with Buick. And by discontinuing Oldsmobile in the mid 2000s they removed (at the time) the oldest automobile manufacturing company in the industry. That now goes to Ford. Also contrary to popular belief oldsmobile is the first company to have an assembly line to mass produce automobiles which is often miscredited to ford who had the first automated assembly line.

Serious question, forgive my ignorance, what rims did the 07 "knock off".

This truly does sound like a family, we can fight between us, but let someone else make fun of our cars .....

I still plan on posting some photos. I just got the windows tinted today, the place that I get the tint from was running a sale last week, so I had to buy and schedule it at a later date. I had it scheduled for last Tuesday, but the business was in Moore OK. Their business was missed, but they did not have power. Also as I said, I got this car at a super good deal, the reason is it had some hail damage. All but the hood was handled by Paintless Dent Repair. The dealer got the hood painted and installed last Tuesday, but it was raining really hard and I did not get a good look at it till later. I did not like the alignment and I am taking it back next Tuesday, so .... as soon as shes beautiful I will snap the pictures. :-)

Early year 07's had the real Alcoa's. Mid year they switched to the Gm look a like's.

Somebody gets butt hurt easily...I own one and reserve the right to make fun of my "PURPLE" car as I see fit :P
