• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The one truly job well done today - Joe's trans install.

Midway through Clay's LIM job.

A few highlights of the day:

(1) I want to temporarily change my username to IHateGM.

(2) Clay is permanently banned from working within thirty feet of any vacuum line or plastic parts.

(2a) Clay's car is still stranded at Dan's, inoperable. (See 2 above).

(3) Good news is my car is finally tunes. Bad news is it needs a CASE learn.

SWeet..you guys did a working meet eh? If Dan was watching TV..how come he takes all the credit?

Oddly enough a 4x4 and atv jack were out and about in my garage as well this weekend.

Joe...Congrats!

It runs great too! HUGE thanks to Dan for helping me out.....and Clay and Austin for chipping a little too. Thanks for not breaking anything on my car Clay lol......pics up soon

Yeah, I'm not sure how many plastic parts and vacuum lines we had to repair/replace with a combination of rubber hose, RTV sealant, and masking tape.

And after all that, one of the damned yellow O-rings in the supercharger gasket decided to slide out of place - and we only noticed this after we put everything together, fired up the engine, and there was an awful screeching sound (a huge vac leak?) and green coolant gushing everywhere.

Hopefully Dan can fix it, I think Clay and I were way in over our heads while he sat on his couch watching Walking Dead. LOL

It's all a learning experience. I've never swapped a trans before. You guys will get the hang of it. I say we coax Greg in hosting a get together at his place in Columbus.

Needless to say I won't be touching my car again for a while once its fixed. I don't want to break anything else. If I can get that gas leak and the lines replaced before winter it'll stay the way it is until spring next year.
