its just my 2 worries are the tune and exhaust.. i know there going to tear me up when they read this but i dont know where to start..
 


Yes headers are always a good idea. $200 for SD simple install especially since your going to have to pull the heads anyways when you do a top swap.
 


Yes can't beat the price and quality of the SD's. just use different band clamps..frozenboost.com has some good ones. Reuse your stock downpipe and manifold gaskets if they're in good condition and roll with it. You can also replace the flexpipe if you like..the one that comes with them is a single walled and known to tick. I got a double walled one just like what Zzp sells for $15 on eBay.
 
just curious.. could i take the headers off the gtp and bolt em to the gt .. because my plan was when i took the gtp to JY i was going to use the money i got for the car to do the exhaust
 
ok so im pretty sure im going to need billboost to hop in here... heres the story plain an simple

bought the car (GP GT 02) no response from blower motor and my first thought was new resistor, well the NEW resistor didnt work.. the blower only kicks on when its on 5.. and thats sometimes.. i checked voltage across (dic/hvac and hvac control fuses in glovebox) and i only got 5-6 volts.. doesnt sound normal.. now sometimes when i turn the control to level 5 i lose all power to the hvac control and the rear defosters nor ac buttons illuminate.. but if i wait 5-10 mintues everything works again.. once a load is present all power is lost..

could this be a possible chance of a bad ignition switch?

Sure can does the GTP have headers on them already?
 


Could always just part out the GTP and sell some of the stuff on the forums and such and make you some extra cash.

When it doubt blame GM.

Gt are higher compression. Generally with boosted cars you want a lower compression. Headers will help it breath more. The more flow mods..the lower the potential knock. Plus I'm sure you'll want to pulley down eventually. It's way easier to do headers with the heads are off. The rears kind of a pain to do. It's double with the heads on but I always recommend doing it while your at it.
