ok well the car has a check engine code p0102 "Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit low Input"

what ive done to try and "fix" the situation

-changed maf

-Cleaned both maf sensors

-unplugged and noticed no difference

so i think either no power to maf sensor and its not giving a reading so i slammed the hood walked in the house
and looked at the tv wondering why this car is such an issue


but then as i was laying in bed later on i remembered!! the previous owner said lower and upper intake was replaced by a neighbor.. hmm VACCUUUUUUMM Leak!!

havent got ahold of any stating fluid yet so thats tomorrow

now check this out im guessing either tune up or vaccum leak.. regardless motor sounds ruff!

i had similar issues.. headlights going off on speeds 1-4 but back on at 5 and it would shut off the dic. blower speed also only worked on 5... replaced ignition switch and it worked
 




Looks fine as long as you're willing to do a bit of TLC with it. For a grand ill buy it. You sure as hell could probably part it out and get that back if worse comes to worse. You also know your way around a Wbody so those should be easy fixes.
 
He was saying he has tons of engine parts and even couple of snouts and 3.4 pulleys.. Asked if we're ever put on the car.. He claims they weren't
 
Look at it this way $200 for roof rails. I'm guessing $200 or so whtever the spoiler goes for. Eibachs can fetch $100 easily. Just parting it out you should easily make a grand back if it ended up needing more work then expected.
 
The guy says in the add that the rails are gone. I wouldn't buy it for a dd, a parts car sure but not for more than $1000.
