• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Got some wheel questions? In here!!

Factory offset for the 16x6.5 is already +52.

They will barely stick out farther and neither has an advantage. To me it's a downgrade as the 06-07 GT's came with 17's stock, unless you are needing winter rims.

I have an 04 GT2 and i want to know if 17x8 38+ offset with a backspacing of 6.00 and a hub bore of 72.6 will fit. Will I need spacers? What size tire best fits a 17x8?

i was looking at American Racing AR913 rims (18 inch) and i was wondering if they would fit? specs are: 18" DIAMETER (18" x 8.5") +40 Offset, 5x114.3 Bolt Pattern, 72.6mm Hub. If they do fit would i need to put hubcentric rings on it?

5x114.3 fits and stock is 70.3, so yes you'll need centric hub rings. other then that, i got no idea. i like to have some rubber between me and the road.

only 245/45/18 on that wheel

I am lowered with about 2 degrees negative camber on a wheel with the same specs except 8 inches wide. These will be .4 inches wider(.2 inches inside /outside).

I have plenty of room.

Hey guys, I have an 07 GT and was wondering if you recommend any 18s for me. I like the 5 spoke star patterns preferably in gunmetal but I can paint it myself. I'm having a hard time finding good wheels that tickle my fancy.

Would probably work with a 245/45r18

So I'll be installing my bullitt wheels this spring. 17x9 +24 offset and run a 245/40/17 tire. From my research I. Should not have any rubbing issues. I am not lowered at all.

But it will stick out(towards fender) roughly 2.5 inches more than stock. It will also be a 1 inch smaller diameter tire.

That is going to look radical to some and not right to most. If it was on bags and somehow tucked with stretched 205/55/17 or whatever, maybe, but on a normal suspension no fckin way.
Excuse me if i didnt notice any lowering mention.

the 45's leave you with wheel gap on a stock set up. my snows are 225 45 17. the width might change the side wall some but still got a gap.

I wont know how much wheel gap Ill have until the wheels are on and the car is on the ground. If I end up not liking the way things look I can always sell the wheels and start over. I was originally told these wheels were a +30 but it appears they are not.
