Got my wheels on my 89! pics

my bad guys i thought you guys had looked in my profile. I have had done motor upgrades, my motor was rebuilt and was bored 30 over and was told it was like around a 3.6ish. cold air intake, superchips ecu chip and a 96 camaro mangnaflow exhaust

The only thing you got right was the indash, I had grey and black srt4 seats. craigslist was 450. 6x9 are 189 for ks, cvx's alone are 150 ish each box was 80, each amp was 200 all my paint materials primer, sealer, paint, clear, reducer ect was 897.newer wheels and tires were 500 and all my labor. its more like 4 grand total but im still im a big hole and found out today the shop dosnt have insurance. luckly my work gave me the paint and materials for free so i can get my car done. and found a new body shop.

if they have a business they have insurance. you shouldnt be out any money at all, unless your car wasnt even at a real shop and just out back in your buddies garage

Wow i never knew you could bore an engine .030" and increase engine displacement by almost 20%. :th_shakinghead1:

so back in the day when i had my 95 monte carlo LS 3.1L, i raced my dads toyota MR2 with the same 1.8L as the s2000 in question.

off the line i had him, maybe for about 50 feet...and i had motor upgrades, and his was stock. A 3.1L with 160hp vs a 1.8L with 100hp is not even close to looking right.
my monte was around 3500lbs and the mr2's and s2000's are around 1900lbs?
the power to weight ratios are way more in the favor of the 1.8 on that, so i dont see how your 3.1 could ever beat a s2000..even if there was bad driving.

I'm with rfmgtp02, I dont have the formula at hand, but I thought on average a .030" overbore maybe netted a 6 ci increase in displacement? So maybe a tenth of a liter increase?

That and I love to see the pix of a camaro crossflow muffler system on a gp, someone on the clubgp pregen area did it but not sure on the actual benefit of it.
