The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
what exactlly did u have done? and it could be just the way the light is hitting the car. but the lower molding on the passenger side door looks pinkish/not clear coated!
Thats looks awesome. The one thing i have always wondered about doin that though is are the door poppers strong enough that they will be able to open the door if it freezes?
Oic so with them on a sep battery there gonna have more power an being that you dont deal with much cold that would make the diff. See im from ohio my doors freeze to the point where you have to really pull on them sometimes. Thats why i was curious. Wondering if it would even be a possibility of somethin i could get away with doing. My guess is prob.

Get good solenoids that are not going to rust, and it is not a problem. I had my car at Frostburg (there is a reason they call it Frostburg, not "Holy-****-It's-Warm-Burg) for three years without incident. It is no different then door lock solenoids...on steroids. :th_thumbsup-wink:
and i did try to have the door molding taken off...it would have costed alot more to have them weld up those tiny holes. Later i'm replacing them anyways and rearrange the badges.
No worries. As long as we are on the topic, do not buy anything from AutoLoc, or any derivative of "The Hoffman Group." Their solenoids are junk, and will seize up when the weather gets bad. Their solenoids look like the ones in this picture:
Instead, look for the solenoids that look like this:
I do not know who makes them, but the last time I bought them they were ~$50 at a local "Tuner" shop...they are top notch for shaved doors.
