• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

got a race comming up

we'll know for sure in a few weeks tho :D

got my coolent elbow today, hopefully that stops my leak.
went to two muffler shops today and neither one had band clamps to fix my exhuast leak so im still looking for that

Have you checked with Summit? I beleive they have the clamps that wrap around the pipe and bolt up.

all the clamps i find are not being enough, like width wise. i need about a 2in wide band clamp.

i just got a little insider tip on some clamps tho (thanks reptile!) so im gonna try that out. tdc has one on his zzp headers and it works good so this should be the one.

i never thought about summit tho. i dont get down that way much, even tho i grew up in that area so i dont ever think about them.

im still wondering about the seafoam tho???? put it in my oil??? gas??? heck ill just do both

**** yea! the thing is tho one pipe is a little smaller than another one, because it just slides in, so reptile turned me onto some clamps that are a little smaller on one end so it works perfectly. just gotta get up to the auto parts store now :D

Yeah, Ive seen them too. Summit had like 12 pages of different clamps of a bunch of sizes. Didn't have time to go through them all. If the auto parts store doesn't have them, I know summit should. Good luck with finding what your looking for. And by the way, how'd everything go at the track? Wish I could have made it, but there's always next season.

i think i told you about the summit clamps when i asked you about your headers. i think on summit the name of them are summit band clamps. when i used to gut the cats outta my old cars i used them to seal the exhaust back together.they worked great.

yea i think you did tell me, and well summit is just a little far away so i tend not to think about them that much. i usally just keep it local. the GM dealers are starting to love me!!

and badass. it was fun. s*** ton of cars!! lots of badass cars, but because there was so many cars i could only get 3 pases. my traction control was messed up (wires cut, so when i go over a bump the whole system would cut off, but is now fixed) so in order to keep traction controll off i had to keep the car running when i was staging and twice i was in line for over an hour :/ i got one pass with the motor and trans temps cool and i spun like a MOFO. (slick street tires at the track SUCK!!!!) on my cooled down run, i cut almost a 2.4 60" (HORRIBLE) and still ran a 14.3 at almost 99.

all in all the car had 13's in it but the tires just wouldent allow me :/ if i had time to make a few more pases and learn the tires, maybe but there was just WAY to many cars. and tdc's car freaking BOOKED it!! 12.7's

Freakin' awsome man. Maybe by next season, I'll have mine straightened out and we can see what she'll do. Anyone get any video?

and never mind the nasty sound my car has. damn exhaust leaks :/ ehh grandprixs sure do sound ugly sometimes..

Oh i know alll about it, as soon as i got my nice shiny headers installed they make a ugly sound, sounds just like stupid crickets or something its soo annoying. You can start to hear it at about 3k or 3500 rpm then it gets louder.
