got a race comming up

We have a guy here running a 3.4 with no problem at all on his 04+. Where did you get that from? I may be wrong but your tune has to be insanely rich to be maxing injectors so early.
 


hmmm. maybe you should take it to someone with a welder near you? that was kinda my plan if i got those headers. or maybe someone on here knows exactly what size clamp you need.
 
ive heard it from a few different people on another forum. thats what they say the aeroforce reads. also will at overkill told me this. its okay i can wait on some injectors. i should have been in the 13's with just my intake and headers (slick street tires suck at the track) i think ill have him coverd with rockers.

and about the exhaust, i had it tack welded, but when its on the car you cant really get the top side of the y pipe. im going back to them and see if they got some clamps i can use. im sure they can make something work, just gotta have the time to get out there :/
 
My next mod is rockers this spring, I know im gonna need spring, so i was wondering what else do i need and what size should i get that would go good with my mods i have now. so should i get like 1.84 or 1.9 or 1.95 ???
 
they say you can use stock springs with the moded 1.9's. the yella terra 1.84's are rollers, dont really know the gain between roller and non roller but you can use the stock springs with those also. if you go above 1.9 then you need springs
 


But wont I still get valve float if i do go with 1.9's and keep the stock springs ? If not that would b nice and that would save me some cash. I got my eyes on the zzp 1.9 mod rockers for 274.99
 
as long as you dont go much over 6000. i wouldent go over 6000 just to be safe. and they had them for 200$ on black friday. im hoping they will have a christmas sale.

hahaha im always going over 6k, the shift point is 6500,looks like im gonna need the springs.
 


its possible but he dident know anything about our race till after he went to the track. so not really a need to sandbag. he then said in a kill story that he raced a gtp and put a couple cars on them (anyone that lives in gainsville georgia that raced an iroc latly??), hence why i called him out.

i heard him going down the track and he was in it. he did have his dad with him and he "says" he has 300 pounds of stero equipment in the trunk but who knows.

got my coolent elbow today, hopefully that stops my leak.
went to two muffler shops today and neither one had band clamps to fix my exhuast leak so im still looking for that
 
Why are you shifting that high? With an ic, rockers, dp, and 3.0 pulley i felt like i was overrevving and making not much power.

who me me???? i'm not 100% sure if it shifts to 6500 at wot, cause i havent driven it in a few months, but it has the zzp pcm in it soo what ever they have it set at thats what my car shifts at. But im pretty sure it shifts past 6k.
 
yea your really not making any power up there. the gen III, stock cam and stock heads run out before that. rockers wont make up enough for that.

is that how the tune comes from zzp???
 
i think zzp is set at 6k but it usally takes the tranny a few hundred rpms to shift. but idk you do have a triple edge tranny.
