GM hub assembly warranty?

I may not get anything out of it, but the hub I replaced last weekend was previously replaced two years/35,000 miles ago. I'm pretty sure it was a GM hub assembly, since the shop receipt says it was $240. I know some of the better hubs have 3 year warranties, but they may only offer that to the shop. Best case, the shop can return the broken hub and get the dealership to replace it and they give it to me. But if GM's warranty is only 2 years/25,000 miles, I'm out of luck.

I should remember this since I used to be a GM Service Writer but I believe it's a 1yr/12,000 mile warranty. If it was only $240 I doubt it's a GM hub, they're usually more expensive. NO aftermarket hub that I know of has a 3yr warranty.

Ok, thanks. And I guess I was looking at another part, because sure enough, most of the RockAuto hubs are 1 year warrenty. But still, that hub should not have died in TWO years, since the other side hub was on the car when I bought it, and I've put about 80k miles on it since then.

I also don't think it's any way I drive, since the hub I replaced on my Impala was driver's front, and this was the passenger front. I just wish I was a little more careful when I removed the one good one that was on my Impala, as I could have used it as a replacement instead of buying a new one. But it was stubborn coming off, and I managed to rip off the ABS plug.
